Simple as perfect! (Posted on 10/28/11)

I've had my Codex 15 for just over a year, buying it after I had pixel problems with my MacBook Pro screen caused by just having it in a sleeve. After a load of research I chose the Codex because it was sturdy enough to protect the MacBook and screen, cool enough to carry on it's own but slim enough to fit in my bag (I didn't want a laptop bag that I had to carry separately) and stylish enough for people to go 'oooh what's that' at when they see it.

It's always been a great little case, keeping my MacBook safe but recently came into it's own when I was involved in a major car crash. The case took a huge hit, flying out the car and skidding across the road at one point, it was completely worn down, and when I saw it, I thought there is no way my Mac is going to be working. I opened the case and noticed just a small scratch on the computer, hit the power button and boom, it turned on. I'm writing this from it. The case is a write off, but the computer it was protecting was fine. I'm genuinely amazed that it managed to protect my Mac to such an amazing degree. So full marks to this sleek, stylish and protective case. (Posted on 3/19/10)
