Instructions/FAQ


Please follow the step-by-step instructions on how to install iVisor on your MacBook.	Step 1 Use the microfiber cloth provided to wipe away any dust particles on the LCD screen.	Step2 Tilt the LCD screen to the maximum angle for easy installation.

Step 3 Peel off iVisor’s backside protective film (labeled #1) gently before applying to screen.	Step 4 Align iVisor starting at the top; make sure iVisor’s circular opening aligns with MacBook's camera.	Step 5 Gently apply pressure around the borders of iVisor to secure it in place.
Note: Once applied, do not remove iVisor for an extended period of time; this may result in loss of adhesiveness.

Overall

I just installed the iVisor I received for my MacBook Pro.

This is a phenomenal product. The anti-glare properties are great, but even more important -- the design of the product actually makes applying it possible!

(I'd previously tried a different anti-glare film that, despite an extraordinary amount of preparation and cleaning, was strewn with bubbles and dust after I applied it.)

The only downside is that there is some slight loss of sharpness from the full-glare screen, but that is true of even Apple's own matte screens (when they used to offer them).

Overall

The moshi iVisor AG is a very good product. It is easy to install, no air bubbles at all. As for the anti-glare performance, it does cut down some glare, but not as much as a true matte screen. Compared to the glossy screen, there is some fuzziness, but naturally, the screen will not be as crisp and sharp as the glossy alone. It does come fairly close to a standard matte screen, but I will say a true matte screen is still a little crisper. A big plus is how easy it is to remove and reapply. You can always go back to glossy by simply and easily pulling off the iVisor. Would buy again! (Posted on 1/14/10)

Overall

I love this anti-glare protector. It is super easy to apply, and the best part is that you can take it off and reapply it. There are absolutely no bubbles, it sticks on more like a sticker than a "film" so it was easier to apply than I imagined it would be. Only downside is that the screen is not as sharp as it is without it. I use my macbook outdoors quite often, so that is a fair trade-off, imo. (Posted on 1/14/10)
