I just bought the new mac book pro and this was the recommended adapter by the store. clearly they were wrong. The video is amazing but it doesn't even detect audio and when i go to preferences it tells me this device was no audio capability when it says it on the box. I dont know if the problem is on the new thunderbolt output but it believe its not. In short words its not worth the money DONT BUY IT.
